The CVEFeed Insights Chrome extension lets you look up CVE details without leaving the page you’re reading. Hover over any CVE ID on any website and get an instant popup with severity, EPSS score, affected products, and a direct link to the full CVEFeed.io detail page.

Tier requirement: Free (no account required)

Installation

1. Visit the Chrome Web Store listing.
2. Click Add to Chrome.
3. Confirm the permissions prompt.

The extension icon appears in your browser toolbar once installed.

How It Works

The extension scans page content for CVE identifiers (e.g., CVE-2024-1234). When you hover over a detected CVE ID, a tooltip appears with:

• Severity — CVSS score and severity level (Critical, High, Medium, Low).
• EPSS Score — probability of exploitation in the next 30 days.
• Description — a short summary of the vulnerability.
• Affected Products — vendors and products impacted.
• Direct Link — click through to the full vulnerability detail page on CVEFeed.io.
